Chanukah
Chanukah celebrates the miraculous victory of the Maccabees and the miracle of the oil that burned in the Holy Temple for eight days. We celebrate by lighting the menorah, adding another flame each night.
The Chanukah lights remind us of the power of Jewish faith and identity, and that even a little light can push away a great deal of darkness.
