We don’t say a person “will be going to heaven.”
We say this person is “a child of the world to come.”
Heaven is not just somewhere you go.
It is something you carry with you.

Dying is scary for many people and this brings the notion of someplace else. In the same way that there is no "hell" there is neither such thing as 'heaven" where we go next. Life is precious by itself and we are grateful to Hashem for this everyday. Yes, heaven is inside us and this way
we achieve a piece of mind. Judaism is a religion of THIS world, to thrive, achieve and and pursue Justice. I assume for some people this explanation is not enough but the Rebbe is definitely correct in his teaching.

To say of a person “he or she is a child of the world to come” is true and beautiful, however when serious illness prepares a person to leave this earth, then they are comforted by the thought that the soul will be “taken up to heaven”. Reply
Well I received the comment very quickly, but not the answer to my question.
There is another question.
What does Judith means when she says that you blew it when you said that she carries Heaven with her. But now there is no reason to be angry?
I hope that my comment did not bring anger to anyone. Because what I mean is that by the definition of a people who carry Heaven with them are the Remnant of G-d. And since what I understood from your last sentence that Heaven is not a place one goes but something we carry, the way I interpreted is, that there is no Heaven, but the "love" that one have is what matters. This statement contradicts my belief, because to me "Love" matters as well G-d have an Abode where He IS. Hope I make myself more clear. In Chabad, I find the most amazing teachers, and Rabbi Freeman is one of them. Blessings to all my dear Rabbies.

Heaven Perhaps it is a State of Mind. We can stay in this state of mind, visit around and return at will. Have a happy solar new year and a sweet week. Reply
Rabbi Freeman,
I have a question. How would you interpret a message like this one: How do you know that there is LIFE amongst the Remnant?
Do you consider yourself and your people to be G-d's Remnant?
If you do. Then, where would you be going after you depart from this material world?
If you do not believe that you and your people are G-d's Remnant, then who do you believe it is or have been.
Thank you in advance for your kind answer to my query. I am not confused at all about Hashem's Magesty, and Power. But I am confused about men behavior towards Him. I also, do not want to appear disrespectful to you nor Chabad's ministry. Thank you for your daily dose of Heavenly Words and Wisdom.

The Human Experiment I was alll prepared to be very very nasty to certain people....then you said this...how interesting...how come I carry Heaven with me-you blew it...now I have no reason to be angry-you put me at ease and gave me peace Reply

Your heart is a place where all your desires are found.
You have freewill to choose whether you wish to live in "heaven" or "earth".
Choose "earth": then you desire to fill yourself with pleasure, and feel separate from others.
Choose "heaven": the desire to fulfill others with love kindness, mercy and strive for peace and unity between each other.
Ultimately, humanity will choose to live in heaven.
