It was great seeing some of you back in class after the short Passover break. As you know, we discussed many ideas in class. I came across a great lecture by the renowned Rabbi Manis Friedman that touches on many of the same points. It's kind of long but, in my opinion, well worth your time. If you don't have the time to sit through the whole thing, just watch the 5 minutes from 4:35 where he suggests exercises on how to avoid seeing the imperfections in the people we surround ourselves with and love.
I'm looking forward to seeing you at next weeks class. See below for the topic to be discussed. Please forward this email to friends and invite them as well./**/

Whether we do it out of peer pressure, to show people how much we know, or just to make ourselves look better, gossip is gossip, and it's wrong. This lesson examines why people might talk badly about others and how we can cultivate a gossip-free mentality.
