Our Engaging Hebrew School Curriculum
At CKids Hebrew School of North Phoenix, we believe Jewish education should be lively, meaningful, and filled with joy. Our goal is to provide every child with a deep love and pride in their Jewish identity, along with the knowledge and skills to live as committed, confident Jews.
Through creative lessons, hands-on activities, and interactive projects, students don’t just learn about Judaism—they experience it. Our curriculum covers Jewish holidays, mitzvot, Hebrew reading, Jewish history, and traditions, all while fostering personal growth and strong moral values.
New for 2025–2026:
My Jewish Treasures (Kindergarten – 2nd Grade)
Young learners will embark on a year-long treasure hunt to uncover the rich treasures of Judaism that make being Jewish so meaningful. Each week, children explore stories, mitzvot, and values that highlight treasures from our past, within themselves, and in the world around them.
-
Discover Jewish heroes and timeless traditions
-
Learn kindness, confidence, and pride in their Jewish identity
-
Collect “treasure tokens” to fill their personal treasure box
-
Build a lifelong connection to the beauty of our heritage
Israel Quest (Grades 3 – 6)
Older students will journey through Jewish history, tracing our people’s story from entering the Land of Israel to the building of the Beit Hamikdash and beyond. Through 16 immersive workshops, interactive storytelling, and creative projects, they’ll experience:
-
The heroic strength and resilience of the Jewish people
-
Our unbreakable bond with the Land of Israel
-
The spiritual treasures that have guided us for generations
From hands-on archaeology to life-size Beit Hamikdash models, Israel Quest makes Jewish history and Torah come alive, strengthening each child’s personal connection to our homeland.
Our Approach
Our program emphasizes:
-
Hebrew Reading: A proven Aleph Champ program that ensures every child learns to read Hebrew fluently at their own pace.
-
Holiday Exploration: Interactive holiday celebrations that make Jewish life joyful and relevant.
-
Jewish Values: Mitzvot and lessons that guide students to become kind, responsible, and proud Jews.
-
Hands-On Learning: Creative arts, cooking, music, and dramatizations that turn classroom lessons into real-life experiences.
With warmth and personal attention, we nurture each child’s mind, heart, and soul. Every student leaves Hebrew school with a sense of belonging, knowledge, and confidence to carry Jewish pride into their lives.
